Well, I forgot I had a class to teach today so my plans of getting a lot of stuff done fell apart. I struggle a lot with time management when I have something to do later in the day. I tend to focus too much on that one thing and can’t seem to focus enough to get stuff done.
But, I did get one product uploaded to the site today AND I’m typing out this blog. I’m going to take them both as a win.
Tomorrow I do my grocery shopping “early” 9am at Aldi with my Mom. Thankfully that’s pretty early so once I get back I can get started on getting things done. Thursday I need to take my car in to have the emissions tested. That’ll take the whole morning but again that’ll let me have the rest of the day to work on the web store.
Today’s inspiration music is a favorite of mine. “Nothing but Flowers” by the Talking Heads. I like it so much that it inspired a painting of mine.
Here’s my painting. It’s 24″ x 48″ acrylic on canvas. The basic meaning of this painting to me is that we are the ones that have the power to change the world around us. Even if everything seems or feels bleak, we’re the ones that can bring beauty back.
