Oh man, day 4! I made it. Almost didn’t think I would blog today because I missed when I’d started doing it in the morning. But, it made more sense for me to delay it till the afternoon since I accomplished more than I would have first thing.
First, I made it to the library and got my library card. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to a library and I can’t wait to take more advantage of it. Tons of research and new things to do there. They’ve even got a creative station that looks like I’ll be able to try printing stuff in 3d or laser cutting stuff. I have to remember to check to see if there’s a class schedule for adults.
Now some works in progress.
The photos of the chattering teeth and googly eyes are probably going to be painted on 10″ x 10″ canvas in acrylic. I’ve got this silver gesso from Holbein that I think they’ll look pretty cool on. I just need to play around a bit with them a little more. Maybe something like yakity yakity yak (title then is Don’t talk back). Like I said though gotta tweak the. Bursting with Joy needs about 4 or 5 more passes. There will be little smiley faces blowing out everywhere. The sunshine one (light blue and yellow diagonal streaks is probably going to be another one from my flower people series. The final one of the Monarch will be all made from hearts and it’s painted on the bronze gesso from Holbein.
